How can I use the GK Grid Module on the frontpage of the News2 template and in which position, like the GK Social template?
I installed both templates. Is it possible to combine the two?

Grid module is a standalone module and you can use it on any of available positions:

(the grayed ones are not available).

Would be great to know how to do this.
Especially when viewing all jomsocial users as a grid rather than as a list as shown here http://siteformedia.com/component/commu ... Itemid=560

I too have an issue with the Grid module in News2. I have setup a gird on my localhost with corresponding content modules from NSP5. Used the exact same configuration settings as the 'Configuration I' setup in the (M)Social template. However the grid is not showing at all... anywhere...

Assigned it to the Highlights position, and to show on all pages. Nothing...

If I look at the page source code I cannot see a single reference to some kind of "Grid" elements. Seems like the module is not activated somehow (even though everything is published).

Please advice...?

If it goest to a configuration for an existing site - you can check quickstart on local server and copy the configuration.

As it goes to @rmartens problem -
Please send me a PM with:
1. URL to your website
2. login and password of user with login privileges (please create one for me)
3. link to this thread

I have sent two PM's. No replies yet. Are you looking into this?

In the mean time I got the grid to show in the Highlights position, but strangely it only shows the last item retrieved from NSP5.
I checked with firebug and it looks like all elements of
Code: Select all
<figure class="gkNspPM gkNspPM-GridTitleOverlay active ....
are on top of each other.

Please reply/advice...

Highlights position is just not the best place for gkGrid module.
Without access to a live site I can't help much more :(.
