Why logo image is inserted into tag H1 ?

I would expect that at least for image logo I have a simple div otherway I'll have an H1 tag empty (not god for SEO) and also I'll have more than one H1 tag in my pages when I'll view pages, and that's not good too for SEO.

Would you consider removing that H1 logo tag in upgrades?

Also I see that many other templates of yours (not all) works like that.

Thanks in advice

Hello,

First of all - more than one h1 tags is not incorrect since html5.

Secondly - you can always replace the h1 tag with div tag in the layouts/blocks/logo.php file.

Thanks for reply.

What if I edit that file to remove the h1 tag when I will upgrade the template? Will I lose the hack?

If so, will you consider to fix that in future releases?

Thanks in advice.

You can always store the modified file and upload it after the template update - this file isn't changed too often.
