Hi,
Can I disable the copyright and use that spot as a position to publish a module there? What I mean is that I would like to publish a module on the left as there is the menu module on the right in footer. I also would like to know how to remove left and right padding as the padding on each side is unreasonably too much.

Thank you for your prompt reply!
Kind regards

You can check text in copyright via template settings (features tab) but there is no option to insert there module because this is not regular module position but part of built-in template code.

I am aware of that and do not wish to rely on it as it has a bug in it. When you write something in it, it will bunch up as there is not enough space for it in width(very sadly designed footer). And, not only the left but it also reduces the width of the right side once you add info to the left through template settings.
I need the solution which I have requested in my first post.
If you know the answer, please feel free to share it with me.
Kind regards

You can always add your own custom module position there http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joomla-extensions/how-to-add-new-module-position/. Copyright is a copyright so we decided to leave space for text only there. You have footer_nav position where you can publish regular menu.

Alright! I do not think you are quite following me. You have done a great job in designing the rest of the template but you did not do a very good job on designing the footer. If I make a change into the copyright text, the right side menu links go into two rows automatically making the footer look as if it was designed by an amature css coder. Also, the entire width of the footer area is a lot less then the rest of the design which makes it appear narrower and silly looking.
So, can you help me to fix this?
Thank you for your prompt reply!

I have exactly the same problem, this is a real clanger of poor design. AND YOU WON'T ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!
Can you please answer the above comment: "When you write something in it, it will bunch up as there is not enough space for it in width(very sadly designed footer). And, not only the left but it also reduces the width of the right side once you add info to the left through template settings." AND NOT REPEAT YOURSELF!

@brianroe It will be nicer if you wait for my response instead of blame me for wont' answering questions… I really don't understand your accusations and I think you caps lock button have to turn off and you didn't notice it.

@SIRFAN1 Please publish the desired content on your copyright area so I'll be able to see the problem in your website. Then I'll provide you CSS code to fix this area. It is hard to help without seeing your content there and how it looks after this changes.

You just need to insert own text there, when the field is empty in template settings it will always show our copyrights. There is no problem with saving other template settings?
