Hello,
when i display the k2 article I woud like to remove from the k2 content:
the big image area before the text the social area under this image*and as well the date and the author befor the image
see screenshot attached.

Hi,
1) You want to remove space or/and also hide those elements ? Did you tried just to disable date, author and social icons from settings?
2) On all K2 items or only on selected categories
