hi, im a new member in gavick from yootheme.

anyway, i started working a website locally using this template. what i want to achieve is a page very similar to the "features" or the other pages in the demo site where the menu is on the left side, article on the middle, and another module on the right side of the page.

i tried all of the module position of my menu but no luck in placing it on the left. in particular, i need to place a menu on the left where there's a link to a specific (one) article and not multiple articles.

to illustrate an example:

when i click "about us", the following menu should show up on the left side of the page -
-Company Overview
-Mission / Vision
-Values
-Etc.

This all leads to a single article/k2 article.

Sorry im a bit noob in gavick and html editing.

Thank you for your help

Hi,
im a new member in gavick from yootheme.

You are not first, many people move from them because of weak support.

Here you are all module positions: http://demo.gavick.com/joomla25/game/in ... -positions
As you see you have to use inset position and in template configuration you have to change it's position from default Right to Left

Thank you Powel that worked. I thought i need to code to achieve that layout :D

One more thing, I have a problem on the homepage. I removed the bottom modules and there are unwanted space/paddings just before the social networking icons. Question is, can I delete this codes in html? (photo on the attachment)

<div>
<section id="gkContent" class="gkSidebarLeft">
</div>
</div>

Are there any better solution to take off the space? my worry is when i decided to use the bottom module in the future, that code might be necessary to display properly. Thank you again.

Sure, check this topic it's very similar to your question:
https://www.gavick.com/forums/m-social/ ... 33364.html

so you can disable only on selected pages, not on all :mrgreen:
