When I visit an item and try to add a product, it goes to an empty cart. I also can not change quantity either.

It appears On the product pages the site is not loading the VM JavaScript files, so no add to cart can happen. How can I fix this ?

Hi
I think it's because this VM version does not support joomla 2.5 anymore. Or maybe javascript files are disabled as You said.
Please make a test and also rename /html/com_virtuemart to /html/_com_virtuemart . This will disable VM overrides in our template It may also be a cause of that since it will still use old VM code since it's not supported any more for this joomla version.
