Does this template have a cookie plugin? if yes how can i enable it? If not, how can i configure the below on my site - which file / line of code do i need to update?

1) You can use Cookie plugin
2) Or edit layout/default.php in template folder - this main template file, sort of old index.php

thanks. When i use the cookie plugin from the template, it shows that text in the google search results. Before, it used to show the keywords from the global configuration of my website. How can i correct this?

You have to wait until Google will check your site again and will change description,
I do not have uncle or friends in Google Office to speed it up.
