Subscribers sign up - Buddypress

please I want to my site to have a full social activities by allowing members to register as subscribers, but am having bots register as well. what can do to stop spam registrations?

Please, how can I redirect my default registration page to the custom registration page? Each time I cope my custom form shortcode and post in the custom page, the default registration form overrides it. pls what can I do?
