Is there a CSS override for the "sidebar" so that any content I input into that module does not shrink?

For example, when I put an image banner 300 x 600 size in the sidebar module the image gets shrunk to 216 x 432.

I would like to remove this so that any image or content I put in the sidebar is the actual size.

It shrinks because it would not fit into the sidebar area. How would you exactly want it to behave?

In joomla > template > layouts, I have set the sidebar to 30% of the template width (1,200 px) which calculates out to 360px width for sidebar. So a 300 x 600 image banner would fit into the sidebar and not shrink.

There is something within the template which automatically forces anything I put into the sidebar to shrink. I think it's that box around the content which forces to shrink the content?

Ok, so actually you want to use entire sidebar space instead of "padded" one?

Yes that is correct, the entire sidebar space.

Hello,

In this case you should apply a negative margin-left CSS property for the module - you can achieve it by adding your custom CSS code in the template settings -> advanced -> custom CSS code option.
