Scrolling background files - any accompanying documentation?

Gents,

One of my favourite features of MusicState is the way the background files dark_bottom_bg.jpg, people_bg.jpg and bottom_bg.jpg scroll behind the modules but as I am changing the content of the template I am thinking it would be good to understand how this works better so I don't compromise its impact.

Is there any documentation I can read to improve my understanding of how this works?
I want to know how to modify coding to increase the sizing of the background in places etc.

There are no dedicated documentation for this area because this are just background images with fixed position so they appear like 'parallax' background. The best solution is probably to use firebug and or Chrome dev tools to check styling in this area. The space there is created by padding for BottomX containers so you can modify this area by changing padding.
