Do I need a plugin to integrate K2 Blog with Jomsocial? If not how do I integrate K2 Blog to show up in Jomsocial bar?

Hi,
yes you need. especially if you want to how activity of user etc.
But I'm not sure there are available extensions for J3.x , I saw/use similar only for J2.5
