grey area in picture

dear support,

on the frontpage there is an picture with a white border at the bottom.
whyever the white border is shown as grey.

do you have an idea why the white bottom is shown as grey?
the imageshow has the same size as the image (1200x565).

please have a look here:

The border looks as gray because to make images responsible and not look strange if they have to be upscaled - there is an "dotted" overlay on top of the image - and when it is over white color - it causes it to look like grey. It is also used to create area for the image under it.
Please remove the white border from the image and it will look completely fine.
