The issue with Image Show Header

Nice Template! One issue... on the GK Image show in the header on the home page - when I have just 2 slider images - it works fine... when I put 3 or 4 in - it kind of jumps around sometimes when its rotating to the next image... it occurs in FF, Chrome and IE 9. What I mean is, say it's showing Image 2 and getting ready to show Image 3 - it will show really quickly another slider and then show image 3. I cant put the link to the site here as it's not ready for live or for the public. You will see what I mean once I give you the link. Would like to PM someone the link, or perhaps you already know about this issue and can just help me without the link. It's a new install and I haven't really put in anything yet in terms of extensions that would conflict with it.

Problem was fixed in Image Show v.1.40 released few days ago

update it? how? I just downloaded the quickstarter version of this template yesterday... I would assume it has the newest version of the module? Is there a new version done in the last 24 hours?

I'm talking about updating just a module. I bet a quickstart was updated too, but probably a little later than the module itself.

It worked... although now the "READ MORE" text on the images has the tag "MOD_IMAGE_SHOW_MUSIC_STATE_READMORE" instead of Read More - I would like to completely to remove that or the Read More text... how should I do that?

Also - I went back and looked - the Language file was missing: MOD_IMAGE_SHOW_MUSIC_STATE_READMORE which I fixed... but what is the cleanest way to remove that tag all together so it doesnt show at all... I know of several ways but would like to see what you guys suggest.

I believe a language file was not overwritten while reinstalling. Please try unpack module package and overwrite language file manually.

I already fixed it that night... I just added the tag to the file... question, how do I code it so that text doesnt show up all together... ie. only title and description show up but the "read more" text doesnt on that slider?

Sorry, but I do not understand what You have in mind. I can see slider is showing title, description and readmore text "Find out more". If You are asking about removing read more from slider than please use this code in css:

I updated the extension, updated the language file for the module and kept the Read More in. That is my solution.

Well I have the same problem in the "Show Image" when I put more than two photos there, he is skipping the previous slide, already downloaded the update, more to me appears only version 1.38.1 and this update does not solve my problem, wanted someone to pass me the link of the version of "Image v.1.40 Show", to solve my problem.

This happening the following problem, and when the site first opened in any compuador or when you clear your browser's cache, this error appears, I'm sending the link to 3 photos of the error, one shows the first photo that opens the normal and other 2 shows the error, lembrand this happens only the first time it opens, when I update the navigated it normalizes.

Another question is the following, my client wants me to decrease the file size of template 1200px - 900px to 1000px or, went there Administer template, and "layouts" and changed the "Template width" more has not solved anything. how do I solve this?

For slide problem I'm not able to make it look like the screens You shown me so I'm not sure what can be causing it without looking into code. Is this problem happening in a specific browser ? I've checked FF, Chrome, IE8 and Safari. Anyway please try to update module. I think there were some fixes done to it recetly.

solved a problem of delivery, Quera was the balance that gave GK4.
Have the problem that is happening and that the "Show image" starts running before loading all images, ai is aperecendo only a white background, and the image was to appear, when I update the link it is the normal means, is only the first time it opens, it will create problems.

I understand what You mean, but it's simply not happening when I'm looking at it. I'm clearing cache of browser, so there is no images from slide than I load the site and I see a man with umbrella, than man in front of squared wall, than with baloons... There is no white screen except the start of the page when preloader is visible. I'm really sorry, but I do not know how to help if I'm not able to see the problem.
