Cloudhost shortcodes selector button disappeared from editor

I recently updated to the latest Wordpress version and it seems the shortcode button has disappeared from the editor in the Cloudhost theme since then. Has anyone else noticed this? How do I get it back?

Thank you for your support... I'll upgrade the theme.
I have a plugin that renders differently since the Wordpress update... Is it possible upgrading the theme files might fix that as well? or is that something I should contact the plugin developer about...

Please start with the theme update, but most probably the differences are caused by the API upgrade in WordPress 3.9.
