Demo sample data .xml file

Hi

I imported the .xml file for the demo sample data and everything seems fine except for the front page which is the most important for me ... The problem is, after I imported the .xml data, the Home page points back to the GavickPro demo site making it impossible for me to customise the theme within my own site.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I had to do it this way because my colleague installed WP then went on leave and I don't have access to the server or the database information required to install the Quick Start Pack.

Hi,

Unfortunately frontpage is based on text widgets, so you have to configure your widgets manually:

(widget settings) - here you can find content of every widget used in the theme. e.g. first widget from Header position is used to generate price table in the homepage.

Probably in this week, with the next theme update we'll add option to generate frontpage from posts - using frontpage template.

I made and saved some changes to the sample demo code in the Bottom IV Widgets (just changed the text and the image path for the testimonials) but when I viewed the site I could not see the changes.

After going to another area of the WordPress admin and then back to the Bottom IV Widget, the original code was there again.

Any ideas why this would be so?

Also, when I add or remove widgets to the Sidebar, nothing changes. Only the sample data is still there.
