So I have found a "bug" so to say. When i enable GK Cache and CSS Cache in the template settings under my articles i get a "twitter" link and a gigantic "PIN IT" button for pinterest. I have disabled EVERYTHING under the Social API section of the template settings, yet this still comes up. I have tried resetting the CRM cache and purging old cache. I also am using a 3rd party plugin called JCH Optimize, but this problem is happening regardless of whether or not that plugin is installed or active.

Besides that I would say my site is relatively modified from the original template, but regarding all Social API code it should of remain untouched.

I have lots of cache and compression settings on my website, so hopefully I wont need to change that for you to understand the problem I am speaking about.

Currently I have GK Cache OFF and CSS Cache ON. I am not receiving the error, but want to turn GK Cache ON, simply because it will make my homepage load just under 600kb of data. :D

Hi

I would like to access your site so i will be ae to see this bug, but if you want a best performance than try installing and using jotCache component with JCH plugin, no other cache or compression solutions needed. From my experience this setup is best you can use.

I have the exact same problem. I launched our new site live a week ago and all was good... today I enabled the system GK cache plugin (plg_gkcache) and an additional Twitter button along with the Pinterest "Pin It" button are now on my articles. I have made certain the feature is disabled in the template(s) (both home page template & sub-pages).

joomla 3.3.6

Nothing will make them go away, I've flushed cache, purged expired cache, etc... My only option is to not use the freaking cache  PLEASE HELP.

*NOTE: This may only occur when having both the system cache plugin AND the GK cache enabled at same time

Hi

Our cache is an extention to system cache, so please try to disable system cache plugin and let me know if this makes a difference. Maybe a duplicated instance of the system cache (our plugin uses this plugin even if disabled) is causing it.
