Blank frontend after install with quickstart

So I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 with LAMP.

After successfully installing the CloudHost quickstart on my server multiple times, the frontend does not work.

I can log into the backend and change content (though an error is displayed when trying to edit content regarding K2).

When I install barebones Joomla, the frontend is fine.

I've tried editing my php log to display any php errors but nothing changes on the frontpage. No errors, nor any information as to what could be causing the hiccup.

I've disabled all News Show Pro GK5 modules and the frontend is working. Unsure if it's one specific module or any/all of them.
