Buddypress - change default text "There has been no recent."

is there a way to change the default text of Buddypress: "There has been no recent activity. " to someting else?

Yes, these texts are included in the language *.pot file (you can translate them), or directly you can make your changes in Msocial/gavern/widgets.latestphotos.php or Msocial/gavern/widgets.buddypress.php files.
