IPhone I don't think is coping with a video in the grid so I was trying to work away round trying to hide it from mobiles. It seems that the widget rules in the GK Grid sidebar widgets does not effect the grid and the Grid interface does not allow you to hide a Grid Block for mobile or tablet. How can I just hide the video for mobile and tablet

Thanks

You can create 2 different grids and use module suffixes to show/hide correct one on desktop/mobile.

Yep but there seems to be a bit of an issue with that..It seems that you can only get iPad and iPhone to display if you turn the desktop version to registered users. If you have both set to

Having a bit of an issue with borders also on vertical iPad - they don't display

Need real help her !! :-)

Can't get safari to play videos in the grid properly. Where's Steve Jobs when you need him god rest his soul :-). I'm hating Mac at the moment - just a toy :-) . I'll love it tomorrow!!! Spent a whole day trying to figure this one out..

Issue 1 - Safari just wants to put scroll bars on the video whatever I do. and will not scale the video to fit the element Have tried resizing the videos to fit the grid space and various css hacks but just can't get rid of the scroll bars or the video to fit or display.. Doing my head in. I assume this is also why I cant get the videos to play on Iphone and Ipad - scroll bars

Any help to do with what I have to do to get the videos to play in any apple products greatly appreciated.. I just can't work out !!! Do I have to size the videos exactly to play in Safari or is there a css fix that I just can't workout

Sadly - we can't do much about the way safari renders html elements.
If you could anyhow change the way iframe inside is generated and add max-width and max-height to video object - it should look better.

So is the only way to get videos to play in grid in Safari iPad and iPhone is via Vimeo or Youtube?. Your demo plays nicely a video from Vimeo. Is this the only way?

Vimeo code uses 100% width and height on all inside elements so their's video can work in RWD layout correctly. It seems video service provider you have used doesn't use this technique. Please inspect inside of iframe elements to see what I mean.
