I cannot change the avatar of a user ( even not mine) in the backend settings users. To do so, I have to go to the upper right corner of the WP backend and hover over the link of my (admin) link. By doing so a menu shows up where I find the option "change avatar" in the menu profile. This is confusing.

Also it is not possible for me as an admin to add users with an avatar.

Thanks

Hi,

I'm sorry but I don't understand, it's normal behaviour BuddyPress avatars you can change from the upper right corner of the WP backend.

I'ts not possible to add users with an avatar - Do you mean that new users don't have default avatar?

Hi Piotr,
the question was the other way round: How can I change an avatar without having buddypress activated/installed.
I just learned that this is not possible, to change the avatar of an user in a WP site you need a plugin like ie Avatar Manager.

So my problem is solved.

Thanks
