(M)Social jomsocial trouble

Hi there, I am having trouble configuring the home page for jomsocial. The idea is to make it look like the one on the demo but looks like the proper styles are not being applied.
I first installed the quickstart package then purchased jomsocial license and installed it but the site does not look anything like the demo now.. could someone help me figure out the way the modules should be configured to make the page look like the Demo.
If you need credential to access backend let me know)

I would really appreciate as I am a little stuck.
