how to have a image and text in the GRID like the demo ?

hi,

i'm a new member and just purchased the msocial template for joomla.
in the demo, we can see on the homepage, in the grid, a bloc with a image (bike and man walking) which contains a photo and a title text on the photo.

i'd like to repdocure that and link it to a article or a menu item.
i install the quick start kit, the grids module contents are all empty.

Shall you help me to have this demo element please ?
