K2 vs Easyblog

Is Easyblog worth the time that I've just spent on learning it.

Will Gavick be updating the templates / extensions in the future or just K2?

EasyBlog - for one editor (person in team), no - it's advanced tool for group of editors.

Personally each extension delays, slows down your Joomla speed. Besides current K2 makes lots of mess
I think in Joomla 3.4 articles have almost everything what you need also for blogging.
You can just install social comments plugin, if you need blah blah after each your post.

First always delayed guys from K2 team have to publish their final product, then we can talk...
we support templates in most cases for about 2-3 years after day of publishing,
but there are exceptions as you can see.

Will you be supporting msocial template beyond 3 years?

ad 1) Nope. I told about begin made date. And this template is from 2013.

ad 2) EasyBlog - hard to say, I'm not future teller. Last update of this template was 5 months ago.
Just use it , if still works probably it will be.
