Hi
You do not have to select a different theme than default. All that our templatet brings here is a different css and some overrides for order of elements in /html folder.

When I click "set default" I get:
COM_EASYBLOG_THEME_INVALID_THEME_PROVIDED

If You can see a sentence like "COM_EASYBLOG_THEME_INVALID_THEME_PROVIDED" this means that some files may be missing. Try install easyblog one more time over the installation You have now. When I'll get an access to Your site I'll check this as well.
