I'm trying to setup Joomla to use memcached but I'm unsure of what I need to do for caching to work well with the M Social template. In the past I've needed to install a GK cache plugin to make caching work properly, do I still need to do that?

This article say I don't: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... hce-plugin

But then in the template settings there is a setting talking about the GK cache plugin.

I have Joomla 3.3.6.

Hi,
it's better not to use GK cache plugin it makes sometimes strange problems,
there are so many others, better alternative plugins.

So what cache setup (plugins) do you recommend if I want to use memcached with the M Social template?

So it's not enough to use the core Joomla cache system? Because Joomla has a cache plugin.

Sure default is great also, but I though that you wanted more.
