Hi,
Try to change the template to a multilingual ( is that sh... work) so:

- what is the module of menu? it is positioned on mainmenu? ( I tried to find this active menu and didnt found it using "menu" in search modules ???)
- I try to keep the grid modules (pictures and social icons) but it is online, access to all pages and languages is ok, but it is away, why? or this have a next frame and I have to activate it ( but this are modules?)

thanks in advance / dzieki ;) :geek:

Hi

Menu is a static template element, not a module You can select which menu to use in template settings, so if You want to use different one just make copies of template style for each language and attach different language and menu to it.

I do not understand the grid question. It is a module creating new module positions, so this "inside" modules are crucial for it to work.

Hi

Make 3 capies of teplate style. Each style attach to a different language and select a different menu for it. Of course Joomla has more things which needs to be meant to make it work. There is even a module "Multilanguage Status" in administrator which tells user what needs to be done to make it work properly.

Hi

I saw it, but I'm extremely busy right now and cannot take any custom job, sorry. If You can wait about 2 weeks than I may squeeze it somehow maybe. Anyway lets get back to problem.

You will have to make a copies of all the content showing modules and attach them to a language it should be used with. Of course Grid module in question only creates module position not content, so it can be left for ALL languages and only the inside modules will have to change.

Hi

Ok. As we've talked via mail here is an instruction.

1. I'm enabling multilanguage module for administrator panel in admin modules list (this will help figure out what is missing)

2. Next step is to install all languages. I can see it's done already

3. Now the step most of the users miss. All languaged has to be added as Content Languages and all informations needs to be set manually. This part looks great on Your website as well :)

4. Menus. Most important part. I've prepared it for You with a separated menus with default home element for each language. Now all pages for any language will be managed in Main Menu

5. Now to turn on language switcher and language filter plugin.

6 And publish language switcher module to make it possible to change languages not only by browser default language.

Here is same instruction, but maybe a little better explained: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/un ... oomla-1-7/

Hi

I got an access to Your MSocial based website and I see nothing I done and explained before is there.

- I've fixed content languages, there were some small mistakes in names and tags.
- Since You have made all the menus for each language in a separate menu than I'm gonna make a copy of template style to use with each of this menus

With this You have menus prepared and a lot of pages with Itemids to attach modules to it. Do not worry about languages with this solution anymore. Please simply stick to what should be displayed in the page.

Hi!
thanks a lot,
what mistakes have I made?

menu- I have changed the names and start/home menu I have connected to a template in appropriate language. I guess iu have to do it with all menu items?
I dont see the animations (pictures and twitter/facebook ) I guess it is grid position? Have I to copy it and divide in several languages or it is possible to have the same pictureanimations for all languages?
on the home page menu (1st menu english) i see articles on 1 st page on other languages (start) not, hmmmm
is there an icon with engl/us flag on language switcher? you know it?

(you know why it is not possible to update joomla to 3.6 is there a must to use ftp?)

regards

Hi

Latest version available is joomla 3.3.6. There should be no need to add ftp access into settings.

Each menu item with the solution You have now has a unique Itemid so every page is different and needs to be configured separately and the other way around, each module have to be attached to each of this pages.

Just stop thinking about this as language versions, think of it like one version with a lot of menu elements.

Hi
You mean the grid module
http://demo.gavick.com/joomla25/msocial/
(I mean the photos and link to social pages it is grid position?)
to connect to menu, it means :
if I want the same grid modules in all languages so I connect it in manu assignment to all languages (in this webpage "home") and it should be visible.
But they are not... and I have no idea ;(

Hi

My guess is that after adding multiple languages, You have also created multiple home pages, so this modules has to be attached to every of this new homepages for different languages.

no I didn't, it is like recommended blind menu, and menus for all languages. The grid modules are set to all languages and connected to all 3 languages home page. I don't understand where is the problem, there is one, but I can't find out which one

:( I should delete this template :((

Hi

Ok. I see the problem now :) It's nothing about languages. I think You've misunderstood how Grid module works. Gris module is a module creating module positions which than can be occupied by other modules. You have attached this inside modules, but missed the general Grid one. Please looks into settings of module with ID 698, this is an example of Grid module I've configured to be used for all languages.

Hi

I got Your PM about the problem appeared on website.

Looks like a session cannot be stored aymore. If an access to joomla panel works please try to switch session to file. Clear cache, repair tables in database and check if there is enought space on the server.

In worst case scenarion reinstall joomla.
