How to update to joomla 3+ k2 + jomsocial

Hi,
I recently paid your subscription and downloade the MS Social template qucikstart.
One (and main) problem or questions is how to update to joomla 3.+ / K2 and JomSocial version com_community_std_3.2.0.5 ?

Next point / question is:
After installing your quickstart version I get this: http://xtasy4u.de
So I see no content as shown in your demo.

Also I cannot install Jomsocial (version 3.2.0.5 ) afterwards?

So what is the right way to handle this?
Do I need to install a joomla version before + install jomsocial and afterwards I install your M Social template?

Why? We didn't made any modifications in Joomla core, so you should be able to install/re-install any component or joomla module.

Order of installation it doesn't matter. We made "only" template.

If you're using QS you should have K2 installed, and JomSocial you should download from developer site and install separately, as normal extension.

the only point I am not sure of is: I installed the qucittime version but it comes with a joomla 2.5 version.
my problem is that I want to use this (quickstart version) with an exisiting joomla 3.3 installation, where all my members are listed...
any idea how to realize this?

You installed Joomla 3.3+ QS or Joomla 2.5 QS ?
Both are different CMS versions but should looks similar after installation of JomSocial.

no - i installed your M social Joomla 2.5 quciksytart version (as there was no 3.x version)
my other existing Joomla installation is a 3..3 version.
so want to use your quickstart version in my joomla 3.3 installation or the otherway round:

Ik I could update your qucikstart version from joomla 2.5 to 3.3 I would match my members database into this.
with other words I want to match my exsiting site with your quickstart template.

Off course I could install the core version template to my exsisting version but that gives me a lot of extra work to configure your template nearly the same as your demo
Understand what I mean - sorry may be my words make it a bit complicated.

Also please another question / tip please: in my qucikstart installation frontpage i see the squares but no blindtext articles like in the demo.
My question is how to get articles published in one of the squares?

1) Please read my today guide, how to upgrade from J2.5->3.3 with this same template:

2) Do not, worry You will not loose any data, just only CMS tables will be upgrade

3) Remember about back-up also, before not upsss after.

4) All modules & components also must be re-installed to version compatible with new Joomla 3.x
