Upgrade to Latest Version

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade to the latest version of the (m)Social template. Every time I try to upload the new template zip file, I get the error: -1 Copy file failed.

Have you any idea what it causing this and how I can fix it?

I have no idea,
but ... this is just template,
just replace files which was changed from your version,
or replace them all if you're "lazy"

1. How do I find out only which files have changed between versions.

2. I have an even bigger problem now. Despite getting the error message, it appears that the upgrade actually did get installed. The reason I know this is that I have lost all of the template customisations I made which took me a long long time. I checked the dates on the template files and they're all dated 20th Sept - the day I was trying to do the upgrade!

3. I did take a copy of the old template, but when I switch to the copy, this does not show the customisations either! Looking at the template files using FTP, there is only one instance of the msocial template. How can this be - when I look in the backend, I can still see the copy I took.

I'd hate to have to rebuild all the customisations - it took me ages.

Please help.

ad 1) check template change-log. If there you will not find such a details info, sorry. Link is/and was/ on my footer, but okey :

ad 2) So if your template works perfect, check what we've chanaged and decide if you really need this update. This is not security update like for CMS or Anti-virus.
