icon awesome font configuration - gk grid

Hi,
sorry for the questions but i'm a newbie in gavick... and I can't find this information in the documentation mainly beceuse I don't know where to search.

I would like to understand the configuration of the icon. for example

<a class="gkIcon gkColorGplus" href="#"><i class="icon-google-plus"></i></a>

what the aclass define??
what is the consequence of writing "gkicon" ??
can i write some different variable instead of gkicon? which efect would I have?

gkColorGplus define the background color: which are the other variables I can use, if want to change the background color?

i class: ok... but is there a way of combining more icons in the same space?
is there a way to configure an effect "mouseover"?

about module suffix, so far I found this variables:

gkvideo: fit the video inside the square
gkphoto: fit the photo in the square
gktext: which is the effect?
gkcolor: which is the effect?
___
are there other configurable effects? mouseover? spotlight? something else...

can i insert a login box in the grid?
do i have to configure somethin special?

Those are classes that are used to define the look of an element, and there are no variables to them. It's just a simple thing of styling the elements.
