i have read the earlier post on msocial, but could nit deduce what i wanted, i installed the gk msocial template,after i activated it i got a getting started page, which is ok, and i have been trying to get the grid positioning, but unsuccessful, any help please

What exactly is the problem?
You need to create gk Grid module in 1rst step... Have you done that?

i have downloaded the gk rest file and i installed it but i am having

Warning
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file

the grid module is not coming up in the module manager

Are you using MSocial with J2.x or J3.x version?
As I understand you are working with existing site and using quickstart was not an option?
