Basic Question GK Grid

Hi,
Can normally use your excellent quickstart pages and edit from them as basis for my site.

However, I must be thick but think I am missing something basic - I understand the documentation on the site, but how would I even include a photo with link to an article or section? A module to show pictures from latest articles? Can I access the full settings and delivery for the 'home' example so I can hopefully see what I am missing please??

Are there any simple step by step basic instructions to produce each of the template standard grids, by way of example please?

I'm not quite sure what you are asking about...
You can find template configuration here:

If you cant start with quickstart because of existing site/data - you can still install quickstart in subfolder (use different database) or localhost and compare settings of template, each module etc.

That is really helpful, thank you and also for the prompt response.

I think it is one of those times I have just not grasped the logic and will no doubt kick my self when I run it again.
