For each module you can select where should it show. Limit it for homepage and it will not show anywhere else.

It doesn't help me much - I need access to a live site. You have probably changed something, but I'm not able to find out what without access.

Ok, once more. Please describe as carefully as it is possible - what is the problem, and what should be the outcome.
From what I understood - you would like to have gkGrid and NSP modules only on homepage.
You can configure them to show only there while editing each of those modules.
Please see the attached screen...

i have done that, and it works perfectly on every other articles except for the two specified. the ones in the picture i attached earlier. they do not appear separately when they are clicked on. they open with the whole grid. I do not want that. i want them to ope separately.

The solution was exactly as described in provided documentation.
I have created single menu item associated with article - named "Gk Test" that points to "BASICALLY, JESUS > HOLLYWOOD".
This menu item is hidden, but now Joomla "knows" that this menu item should have different layout than homepage.

You might use a category instead of article link.

1. Please edit main menu
2. Go to last page
3. There you will find 2 unpublished items, one pointing to Joomla articles -> single article, second one pointing to K2 -> Item.

This is exactly what you need to do - create unpublished links to articles or even better - to a category containing them.
