Problem 2-3 columns: articles in columns don't show

Hi!!

I would like to have 2 or 3 columns in the menu, but when I select more than one column, the items in teh columns don't appear or appear below the grey box (in which normally all item of the menu appear). Might you please have a look at the picture I've added ... don't know better how to explain it. But the menu items just appear fine if I just select one column within the menu params (GavickPro). Might you please have a look?
