Hi,

i use (M) Social and JomSocial 3.1

On my Page, at HelloMe, Profile etc. Karma will not display.
Has anybody the same problem, did anybody found a solution for those problem?

Another question. I had tested a template from joomforest, called "JF Social"
it's a bad template - but one thing is really well.

"Sticky Header". --> Toolbar is anytime on the top of screen. Do not disappear, if you scroll down...
Does anybody know how i can match those at (M) Social??

Thanks for help,
kind regards, Harald

Hallo,
On my Page, at HelloMe, Profile etc. Karma will not display.

On my demo page with latest version of template and JomSocial I can see Karma signs.

Are you talking about component view or module view ?

Let's do simple test
1) Use different browser to check again (FF, Opera, IE or Chrome) - if you still don't see it.... step 2
2) Please (Bitte) rename folder gk_msocial\html\com_community for a while , for example to "com_community-off"
Check now - using at least two browsers.

What are results?

If you can see after step 2 - it means this is our fault, if not - problems with URL of image.
You can use Firebug tool to check it.

templates/gk_msocial/html/com_community in root directory.

we still talk about template for Joomla itself !
inside there is "theme/style" for JomSocial.

Now when you know which folder you should rename, please do it.

Hmm it means problems with URL.

Your page is available ? or on localhost :(

Please check with Show image source/information -- left button on mouse on the image. There you will see what going on with image URL.

Error 404 - means that there should be image files and there are not.
The problem is with file extension - JomSocial need GIF and you have PNG only.
Easy to fix - just upload there unziped files to this folder: components/com_community/templates/default/images/

This is BUG of JomSocial anyway. Probably you have "old" version.

p.s.
1) Please change login & password to back-end - somebody could hack you! before I could delete those info.
2) Enable "Gzip Page Compression" in Global Configuration -> Sever if you forgot about it.

I'm on this forum probably the only JomSocial expert - because I use this component since 2009 (v1.2).
If you need any help just ask.
