Space appears above pictures in grid

I modified the grid then inserted pics into each grid I am using a custom html module with this html code

<h3 class="gkCentered"><img src="images/pics/signage.jpg" alt="signage" /></h3>

When I view the grid a space appears above each picture in the grid. See attachment.

How do I remove this space.

Its probably because you have used tinyMCE to edit the grid custom html modules and it alternated your code.
Please for the start - disable tinyMCE in configuration of Joomla (change editor to "No editor"), then remove all unnecesarry html code from those modules (seems like h3 is messing things out).

I removed the h3 but there appears a space around the entire pic. This is what appears now in the custom html

<p><a img src="images/pics/Telephony2.jpg" alt="Business Telephony" /></a></p>

For the panoramic image of people watching monitor screen and image of antenas - please remove module suffix: gkText to remove padding above and on the sides of the image.
