Pagebreaks dont seem to work

Hi,

Ive been trying to instert a pagebreak within an article that shows on a featured article menu item. (aka home). the break appears as a hr until i click the name of the article, which only opens the article in the home page and then the page break is enabled.

is there a way to insert a pagebreak that is visible from the getgo without having to click the article title?

What cause the problem? Could you share your solution with other members?

I dont know, I just decided no to use them... I ended up doing a read more button to go to the full article instead.

I noticed that when I used the "clear" suffix a lot of things actually worked, like a lot of the typography.
