After disabling front page featured module , erasing all Freatured Articles on my front end website is still displaying Articles on the home page.. Any other way disabling the articles on my home page??

its weird they pop up randomly.. i have two article on my front page now... (home)

I still do not see articles, but in the Home element settings I can see that the "Featured articles" type was used and set to show 2 into articles. I've set this to none. Please check if this made a difference.
