Log out redirect not working

(Not sure this is a template thing)

Joomla 2.5.16

The login popup works great and redirects to the home page. Yet the logout seems to give me a 404 even though i redirected it to the home page.

I have not done anything drastic in terms of changes.
I added a new module position for the menu, created a new menu and added the items.
I have created a guest account user group but this started before i created it.

Am i missing something?

I am working off a localhost, so i cant post a link.

Is there anything else you need?

Hi

Try create a new menu item with a type of User > Logout. If site will not redirect to this page after logout please send me an access to joomla panel. If it will than either Login menu option type or module is configured to redirect to none existing page.
