Hi,

Thanks for this wonderful template!

I am only struggling with one issue: please check www.ijsbaanheino.nl. There you see a space between the header module 'grid' and the footer.

I have been looking around if any modules were activated or not (not in this case) but I can't get rid of the empty space.

Do you have any idea how to remove this?

Best regards,
Mark

Please publish GK Grid module on mainbody position, this should hide default frotnpage area so the space will disappear.

Hi, thanks for your quick reply but it resulted in another 'problem': now the blank space moved to the top and also blank spaces appear left and right..

Any other solution?

Probably you need to use suffix for pages option to hide this area for home page, please look here >> How to Disable Content on selected Joomla Pages ?

Hi bkrztuk! The advice given in the article doesn't work for me. I've been working with (M)Social quickstart on my local machine. So the content area is still a horizontal white stripe between two different modules on the frontpage. Looks awfully. I even tried to apply the Blank component offered on JED, but no result that I need. Please any other ideas on how to exclude the content area on the frontpage of the (M)Social template?

The only way to hide it is to use suffix but I firstly need to see your website. Could you upload your work to some live server so then I can provide you CSS code according to your applied suffix?

Hello bkrztuk! Thank you for your reply. Well, maybe you've got some secret CSS code that was never shared in other GK template forums? Anyways, your position doesn't help me finish preparation of my website before puttuing it on a live server. Just like other webmasters, I'm used to work in the following way: first I prepare my website on my local machine and only after that I put it on the server. So I find strange enough if you require to change this routine as the condition for sharing your CSS code. ...As for my suffix, you can see it in the following code:
Code: Select all
.noMainbody #gkMainbody { display: none !important}

Firstly I need to make sure that the suffix is added which without seeing live website it is impossible. There is a common problem that customers use menu order number instead of ItemID and in result the suffix is nowhere visible…
