GKContact

I did read about the GKContact plugin and did as was written there.... i downloaded it from the Creativity template files and installed it.

Then i noticed something weird, the text from the language files wasnt used, there were just the labels (for instance: PLG_GKCONTACT_NAME_FIELD).

I checked if the language files were installed and they were in administrator/language/en-GB.

I tried making copies and adjust the file names for NL, but then they still not worked.

What am i doing wrong?

Hi, probably you made small mistake somewhere.

I Know it's not about GK Contact but includes all knowledge & tips about translation.

Thank you for the reply Pawel. Perhaps what i wrote wasnt so clear as i had hoped. My problem isnt related to translations it is a problem after a simple install of the plugin.

Here is what i did ....
- downloaded the plugin
- did a normal install, that went succesful

Went to look for the settings of the plugin in the backend and found just the labels instead of the words from the language files.



BUT ...... just before pressing the Submit button i decided to check once more and cleared the cache, and it was solved But as you can see in the image i really had this weird screen with just the labels. Thanks again for your help Pawel.
