Okay, I have two problems that have seemed to just pop up out of nowhere (I know that is not the case, but it feels like it is). I cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on, and I am going crazy!

Here is my Website: http://www.chinayouthprogram.com

1.
Just starting yesterday, I cannot edit my template (under 'extensions' 'template manager'). Whenever I try to add CSS, change a menu, add Google Analytics code, or anything. I make my change then click save. The browser thinks for a minute then just redirects me to the main template menu. No changes are saved. I have tried several browsers and computers with no luck. I noticed today it is also effecting one of my modules (Perfect AJAX Popup Contact Form). The same thing happens with this module. Make a change, save, redirects me to the menu, nothing saved. I am at a complete loss.

2.
This one is an even larger mystery. My site looks just fine, then sometime last night I checked it out and in the main body all my margins (or paddings) are gone. Everything is right up against the edges of the page and all top/bottom buffering is gone. This happens for everything on every page. I believe the margins that are being disabled are attached to the individual modules, not the page, but I am not sure. As part of this, the little Joomla edit links that show up on the page when you are logged in are also gone. SO, I randomly took my site offline, put it back online again and it went back to normal. Strange. Today, site looked fine, then out of no where I lost all my margins again. Took site offline, put it back online, and it was fine. As of right now, the site is fine (I know that is unhelpful to you), but I am certain it will kick the margins off again. I am totally baffled.

Sorry for the long post

ANY insights would be helpful! I have edits I need to make to the template that I cannot make and I would like my site to not look ugly due to a lack of whitespace.

Number 1. If you would like to send me admin access I can help you target the problem.
Number 2. If this happens again I can help you solve the problem. You should take a screenshot so I know where you are talking about though. May help me a bit.

#2 happened again. It does not effect the homepage (I am using the Creative template on the homepage and it seems to be only happening with the Bluap template). I am not going to fix it this time so you can see the problem in action.

Hey Devsmi,

I am pretty hesitant to give someone I don't know my admin info. I am OKAY giving info to someone who works for Gavick.com, but I am just not sure I can trust a totally random stranger with admin privileges for my website. I really appreciate your willingness to help and your kindness. I hope you understand by reason for being hesitant.

Hi

Devsmi helped a lot of users already and there were no complainings, so I believe He is legit, but of course I understand Your concerns. Please send me Your joomla panel access. I'll take care of it.

Hi

1. You have outdated template. The version You have was for an older joomla version and some changes has been made in joomla administrator during this period please update template. Here You will find a list of files which needs to be replaced https://www.gavick.com/index.php?filter ... Itemid=399

2. Sounds like a valdation or cache issue. Please update template first because it may be related. If You will see it again please save a source code of the page so I will be able to check the code.

Greetings,

I updated my template, but both problems are still happening. Thanks for reminding me to update, I was pretty outdated.

I still cannot save any changes to my template (custom css, menu items, or anything) and I still have no margins/padding on my modules. What should I try now?

Okay, I solved my margin/padding issue. I guess I was targeting a customs css that only effected modules that were offline. Glad I figured it out, Too bad that was the lesser of the two problems, lol.

Hi

Are You sure You have not missed any file ? Script breaks after attempt to save settings. I've checked all plugins working along with template, but it's not a conflict. So I installed quickstart at my computer, but problem doesn't exists. Please send me an access to ftp, so I'll check.

Thank you. That's strange. I have tried on multiple computers (PC/Mac) and browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and have the same problem each time.

Hi

Ok. It worked for them, becuase they tried with other template than Bluap. That was my bad, I have not mentioned template name to them while asking. BKrztuk adviced to make a copy of Bluap style and use it instead. Looks like this one is working just fine at least for me, so please try it and reconfigure attachments and seet this copy as a default template.

Thanks,

SO, I did what you said. I used a copy of Bluap and made all my modifications. I was able to save the template with no problem. I took a break (maybe 30 minutes) and came back and the same problem is now happening to the new copy Bluap template! I do not know what happened. Now neither of my Bluap templates are editable. The last thing I did before I took a break was add my Google Analytics code to the template. Any thoughts?

Before the template stopped working I tried to edit the two modules that I have not been able to edit or delete. They did not work. So I tried to duplicate them and see if I could edit the duplicates (like the template) but that didn't work. The duplicates had the same problem of not saving. One of the modules is a Custom HTML and the other is an Ajax Popup Contact Form (http://www.perfect-web.co/joomla/ajax-c ... pup-module). I tried to just create a new custom HTML and assign it to the same spot as the one that does not work, but it would not let me save my new one. This is very confusing to me because I have created several custom HTML modules since the problem began. The only thing I think of is that it had a problem being assigned to modules position 5. I don't really know.

This is such a mystery!

Hi

Yes, that's an interesting case, but I believe it can have something to do with server now. This sounds more and more like a connection to database cannot be finished while saving. Please check if database of server has sufficient ammount of space.
