Hey guys. My template breaks when I add a category blog. I posted this a couple days ago but no one is replying and I can't continue working on my site until I figure this out. Here are links to the two pages of category blogs. I'm working with a fresh template install and haven't made any modifications to the main body or bottom sections.

I'm hoping you Gavick experts can shed some light as to why this is happening. :)) Thank you!

Could you check whether the same happen on default Joomla! template like Beez ? I think this may be related with invalid HTML code inside on of you articles.

Thank you for responding! Okay, it appears to work and I apologize that I didn't try that first.

When you say "invalid HTML code inside one of my articles," why would it work in Beez and not Bluap? Not sure where to look. The code only has <h1> and <p> tags, and some bold/italic. ??? :)

Hey there again. I went through and validated the code for both of these pages through W3C Validation Markup Service http://validator.w3.org/ and fixed a few </p> tags from my articles but the validator shows 25+ errors for both pages relating to open elements, unclosed elements, stray elements, etc. that must be a part of the template. Please advise as soon as possible, as the template still breaks. Thank you.

If I can add few info :

1) What kind of errors - we don't see them, so it's hard to say
2) W3C validator have problems with HTML5 and CSS3 so maybe there is a reason?

Thanks so much, Pawel. Examples of some of the errors are as follows, but there are many:
Line 182, Column 9: End tag div seen, but there were open elements. </div>
Line 160, Column 9: Unclosed element article. <article>
Line 185, Column 12: End tag div seen, but there were open elements. </div>

All I know is that the category blog works with the Joomla default Beez template but breaks with the Gavick template. SOS Help :)

I suspect that the wrong structure comes from one of your custom modules or article content. I've validated template on demo and there is no problem. Please try to disable modules one by one do detect where may be a problem.
