How to create a Gallery?

Tip: to create the gallery please use attachments from the Media library.

Can I have this in English please. In other words, how do we actually do it? ?????

When you are creating a page, choose template page "gallery" , upload images to media library and attach them to this page. That's all.

Thanks but all I have is 'Format-Gallery' and even if I choose that there's nowhere to attach images - even 'Add Media' will only let me add one image; see screenshot:

Ok, but you're creating a post, not page..
If you want this gallery:

it's available only for pages.

Into posts you can enter this default WP gallery:
http://codex.wordpress.org/The_WordPress_Gallery
