Frontpage menu

Hi all,

Two questions:

Having difficulties in changing the permalinks from standard to postname, it just doesn't work. Getting a 404 after changing the url's to postname. It isn't a htacces issue. mydomain.com/?p=1030 isn't the prettiest url around.

Secondly, the pages that open after clicking on a portfolio image (GK Portfolio) are subpages right? Why does my frontpage menu echoe to all pages in my portfolio, even though in my set-up I can apply a custom or another pre-set menu for the subpages.

This is a great team and highly customizable. Just those few issues I have, any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure that it's not a htaccess issue? try to add Options FollowSymLinks at the beginning of .htaccess.

In regards to the second issue, the "pages" that open after clicking on a portfolio image are posts.
In GK Portfolio widget settings you can choose latest posts, category slug, post slugs or custom post type as a data source.
So you adjusted "Main menu of the theme for frontpage" to front page mainmenu and "Main menu of the theme for subpages" to other menu and it's not working? Could you send me a PM with backend access to your website? then I'll be able to check it.

It's ok now, check Creativity ->Template Options -> Navigation - your "Main menu - Subpages" option was disabled.
