Hello,

I successfully installed the creativity WP theme. I wasn't sure of how to go about recreating the homepage to match the demo, so I went to the "Creativity Configuration" page in the documentation.

I downloaded the config file for creativity, imported in my admin console, and then the minute I did and refreshed I started experiencing a pop-up on both admin side and website side.

I have no idea why this is 1). in the configuration, 2) . how to remove it

Please advise at your soonest, as to why I am experiencing an "Authentication Required" pop-up on my Wordpress site, once I imported your suggested config file for the Creativity Theme.

It seems somehow htpassword comes into play. Please login via ftp and paste here the content of .htaccess file (You might need to enable showing of hidden files first in FTP client).

Or... If it is possible - Yu could just start again and instead a theme - download QuickStart package which contains entire WP installation with all necessary files and database structure allowing to recreate exact copy of our demo page.

Meanwhile one of admins suggested, that You should check Template Settings -> Branding section, and change url of logo from our gavick logo to your own (or clear this field). It might be the source of your problem.

Thank you for your feedback.

I went into Template Options, and looked for project.gavick.com anywhere I could find it. It was in two different places.

Once I removed those URL's pointing back to gavick, that did solve the pop-up problem.

Thanks.

I spoke to soon!

The pop-up went away when I test the font-end of the website, but the admin still is experiencing the pop-up.

Your feedback on the .htaccess is unclear. Please be more specific.

Also, please indicate where else I should be looking for this.

AND, why did this occur when I imported the config file you are listing for this theme?

Please send me a PM with:
1. URL to your website
2. login and password of user with admin/super-admin privileges (please create one for me)
3. link to this thread

I figured it out. I had to find one more of those "project.gavick.com" for it to finally stop popping up in the admin console.

I've tested it now for a day and I believe the issue has been resolved.

Thank you for your help.
