Widgets title and sub-titles does not translated with WPML

When I'm using

Title text __sub-title text goes here__

it's converting by WPML (in WPML -> String translation) into

Title text <small>sub-title text goes here<small>

and WP does not shows that translation (shows original language text). Is there a way to workaround/fix it?

Currently I'm forced not to use __text here__ syntax on the multilingual site.

So create 2 or more widgets and depends on languauge display first or second using Widget Logic and ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE == 'en' command.
