Now 2 last questions.
1) Did you receive any message from Joomla as a administrator, I do not ask about our plugin but in general, because maybe you have wrong Mail Settings .
Just do quick test.
a) In your user account Receive System Emails [Yes]
b) Now create a new Administrator user , with your second e-mail.
Or
Create a new contact form using Joomla Default Contact Component and send a e-mail to yourself (second e-mail)
Then, Check your Inbox - any e-mail from your joomla
2) Check Global Configuration -> Server -> Mail Settings - it's quite popular issue , each server have its own post rules
