please check email settings in global configuration
and also gk_contact plugin settings

I went to the plug in "System - GK Contact">Mail Configuration and on "Receiver's e-mail" I put my yahoo e-mail. On Global Configuration>Server>Mail Settings> From email I also put my yahoo e-mail settings but the contact form still not working, I send a message and I do not receive it.

a) In your user account Receive System Emails [Yes]

Create a new contact form using Joomla Default Contact Component and send a e-mail to yourself (second e-mail)

Then, Check your Inbox - any e-mail from your joomla

2) Check Global Configuration -> Server -> Mail Settings - it's quite popular issue , each server have its own post rules

still not working... I noticed that it show an error message after sending the message it says something like catcha invalid. I don't know how to create a joomla contact form.

As a first step try to enable GK contact without captcha option at all.
