I want to use this template for our company web page and have started to play around on my laptop using xamp and everything seems to work ok.
I asked to set up mysql, php and apache and joomla on a linux machine. The standard joomla install works well. I then proceeded to copy the quick start to the server and simply to go through the set up process. this all worked ok, but when I want to view the site all I see is a blank page with the following code in it:

<div class="gkNspPM gkNspPM-Portfolio noInitialAnim" data-cols="3" data-rows="2"><div class="gkImagesWrapper gkImagesCols3 animate_queue">

There are no errors in the apache log and error log files.
any help is much appreciated.

I have an update on this:
I exported the database, and copied all files over and voila it works.
I then thought to again download the latest version and I set it up on my laptop and again exported everything and copied it to the server. It works on the PC, but again I am getting this white page. I also have to say that the version which is now working on the server was based on a quick start file i downloaded previously.

Found some helpful hints in posts and narrowed it down to the Module News Show Pro GK5. It works well if I choose joomla articles, but not at all if I use K2.....
Not sure why this should differ from one machine to another.

it seems that copying over the joomla site through a db export and copying over the files doesn't quite work for K2. If I unpublish all K2 items it works. As soon as I publish an item or create a new one it doesn't work.... Very strange....
will most likely just use regular joomla articles, which seems to be the more robust way...

ok figured it out finally. I removed the whole module alltogether and added a new one. Now it works.. I have no idea why this should happen, but this seems to have solved my issue.

I think I was too quick in posting my solution. I did however find the next clue: If I disable the "create thumbnails" switch it works but the images are not sized the same. Of course I can now try to crop the images to get them shown the same size, but if anybody would have some further insights as of what the real issue is, it would be much appreciated.

Yes I too have the exact same problem for the home page on a Ubuntu 14 LAMP server

View Source reveals:
<div class="gkNspPM gkNspPM-Portfolio noInitialAnim" data-cols="3" data-rows="2"><div class="gkImagesWrapper gkImagesCols3 animate_queue">

Other pages are ok in the template.

Would you be able to share how you fixed the problem...

As mentioned above I did the following:

1. go to module manager: Module Manager: Module News Show Pro GK5
2. click on Thumbnails
3. Set Create Thumbnails to Off.

I have a suspicion that some php modules are missing as I originally set it up on my lapto using xampp which pretty much adds a lot of modules.
