hi
I'd like to get a box on the page that would show fb recommendations feed from business page.
I've tried to use social add on, but it requires fb app ID and app ID seems to be only available for individual users, not business pages.

Is there any work around for this?

Hi

I'm afraid I do not know either. I've only been using the one You have mentioned, please ask FB devlopes about that, so they will know best.

In my opinion this would be same app, just configured more like followers of a funpage.

I did gk5 social add on installed but it works in any mode except recommendations.
When i set it up to show recommendations, it says there are no recommendations for this page yet.
I've posted in the add-ons section but no joy getting any advice on that...

Hi

Ok. I've checked that and I can see that recommendations are not mentioned in settings. Therefore I believe module is not supporting this app. I can try to deal with it, but it will be just easier to use a Custom Code module (like for example K2 Tools) and past the code generated in this page: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/pl ... mendations

Fastest and cleanest solution as I believe.

Hi

Ok. Acctually while logging out from the module on Your site. In a last second I've noticed a separated tab for that. But as You've mentioned earlier there is only a text about lack of recommendations. Anyway please use the solution I've mentioned above. This will gives as a view to if module's code is outdated or the facebook is not receiving data about this.
