Guys,

According to the module positions for this template at:
http://demo.gavick.com/joomla25/creativ ... -positions

There is a position called userarea next to mainmenu and above header.

I am trying to put a module (custom html, featuring links to social media icons) in this position but it doesn't appear to be in the list of options. Am I missing something? When I try just to type userarea it doesn't help.

Thanx

As you may notice this positions are marked with different colors in module positions graphic and these are not regular module positions. Please read more about this issue here → [How to see and use all module positions in GK templates - GavickPro Documentation](http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joo ... templates/)

hi bkrztuk - I have read this article and I have concluded from it that there is no way to display social icons in the userarea position because it is not possible to use this position.

Yes, this is built-in template positions so you need to create custom module position or use some regular module position.

Yep, adding new module position is really the best way to customize some template parts but even experienced users sometimes have problems with adding it. We try our best by providing this tutorials.
